  The Swedish meatballs are made in house from scratch. The food is always delicious no matter what you order. The waitresses dress in Swedish dresses. Goats on the roof are always nice to see, there's even an online camera to see the goats.

  Service was awkward and sub-par with limited to no check ins at our table. For the food we received: French Fries were bland and worse than coming from a Walmart Bag (We were told they were the best in the area) and Swedish meatballs with the sauce were lukewarm and bland tasting. Shortly after eating, both my girlfriend and I became sick for several hours from the food. Extremely disappointing and frustrating after hearing all the positive remarks from both locals and family members.
  
  On a positive note, the interior and the dress that everyone wears was pretty cool and very authentic.

  A must visit place if you at all like to enjoy a long lasting icon. Open for breakfast and lunch only. Great Swedish pancakes, that can be served with strawberries or cherries and whip cream, or with real maple syrup, bacon, sausage, Swedish meatballs, eggs, etc. They also offer burgers, sandwiches, and some traditional items like pickled herring. Family friendly. Staff dress in traditional Scandinavian dresses and/or sweaters. We stop here as a special treat during our week long stays. The newly added beer garden is a great addition to this Door County icon.
